Darkwaves is a solid synthwave release, combining big analog pads, synth bass, & dramatic patches that contribute to the dark, gothic mood. Sometimes it's even humorous, as in "1984 (Psychobilly Mix)" where spaghetti western guitar floats over EBM. Other times, like in "Nightwaves" or "The October People," you get creepy chords and haunting arpeggios backed by ghostly choir pads.
